Yesterday Florida Tree Service (Rodney Willis) cut down a dying 65' pine tree situated in a very tight spot. They did it with a crew of 6. Arrived at 1:15 and were gone by 2:30 leaving only a stump (at my request) and no debris anywhere-- carted off. Fantastic job.

Rodney Willis Florida Tree Service has worked at our home three times over the past four years, and we have been extremely satisfied with each project. Those jobs included trimming our two large live oaks, cutting a ligustrum hedgerow that is taller than our house and needed to be trimmed down, and taking out a tree from our wetlands that fell into the side of our house. He was very kind and professional. the estimate he gave me was very reasonable. His guys came in and got it done so fast! I thought it was going to take all day and it was only a few hours. Their team came today and cut down a 3-trunked 65-ft. tree and another 65-ft. tree. they laid boards down on our lawn so their equipment wouldn't tear up the grass, and after they dropped the trees, they even raked up loose leaves, ground the stumps, and with a leaf blower, blew the chips out of the grass. Chips are all that's left. Very friendly, professional, considerate of our property, and thorough!

We have used Rodney's tree service since moving to Jacksonville 5 years ago. Rodney and his crew are awesome! They get to the job at hand and take strides to make sure sprinklers, fences, and other trees aren't harmed in their work. Once they are done, they rake up any debris that is left and blow off any drives and sidewalks. Looks like before there was any damage!! We highly recommend them.

Rodney and his team removed a 90+ year old Red Cedar tree that was very close to my foundation & ground the stump, in addition to trimming another tree on my property. This is the 2nd job they completed for me. The team showed up promptly, completed the work in record time, hauled all the debris away and left my deck/driveway/yard looking cleaner than before they arrived. Rodney Willis and his crew with Rodney Willis Florida Tree Service removed three pine trees for us. The trees were at least 90 feet tall and were between 3 and 10 feet from the edge of our house. One was quite close to the neighbor's privacy fence. The tight quarters and the height of the trees required an extra level of expertise. He used a crane (he owns the crane and has 40 years of crane operation experience) to remove them. There was no damage to our house or fence. He also put 1 inch plywood down where he needed to drive on the driveway and lawn to protect those surfaces. After the trees were removed he cleaned up the yard and blew the sawdust off the roof. They carry liability insurance specific to the work of tree removal and workers' compensation insurance. We are pleased with the removal of the trees and definitely recommend them and will use them again if we need tree work.

This week I observed Rodney Willis' team in action. they were tackling a massive removal of trees on the property facing mine - including a huge Sycamore, a 150' Pine tree right next to the house and a monstrous hundred year+ Live Oak that was destroying the home foundation, and assorted smaller trees. It was a daunting undertaking!!! The houses, here, are very close to each other but with skill and surgical precision, the tree branches were removed and safely lowered, via crane, to the ground. The team works like a well-oiled machine from the axman climbing the tree or guiding the bucket, to the deft touch of the crane operator, to the ground crew handling the branches and limbs on the ground and clean-up! They even managed a small branch removal job for me! I was totally wowed! This is a professional group who knows their business. Don't take chances; go with the best.
